SPACE ODYSSEY IS DELIGHTED TO OFFER FASCINATING DOME EXPERIENCES FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS AND PUBLIC BODIES SUCH AS THE BBC, NATIONAL PARKS, AONBS, LIBRARIES, WILDLIFE AND ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANISATIONS, STEM ORGANISATIONS, WOMENS’ INSTITUTES, ROTARY CLUBS, SOCIAL CLUBS ETC.
With an amazing range of resources at his disposal, Simon can carefully tailor the content of every session to suit the event and groups involved, e.g. exploring the ‘skies tonight’, learning about the origins and evolution of life on Earth, the history and future of space travel, the search for alien life…
Session lengths can be from as little as 10 minutes to an hour or more, depending on the nature of the event.
For sessions of 45-60 minutes, the fees are just £6 per adult and £4 for under-16’s. A minimum fee will apply, which will depend on the distance to be travelled from Simon’s home in Devon. The minimum fee will be in the range £250-£300 for bookings in the South West with an additional modest supplement further afield.
It is best to aim to arrange at least two sessions to ensure the minimum fee is covered. You may need to add an extra 50p or £1 to cover any hall hire (e.g. charging £7 per adult, £5 per child from which you deduct £1 a head for the hall hire and Simon receives £6/£4 accordingly).
For whole-day or multi-day events involving large numbers of sessions, or where a series of much shorter sessions are required, the fees per head would be much lower or a flat-rate fee could be agreed.
